The Cheshire Ring is a canal circuit that includes six canals in Cheshire and Greater Manchester. These are the Ashton Canal, Peak Forest Canal, Macclesfield Canal, Trent & Mersey Canal, Bridgewater Canal and Rochdale Canals.
From Whixall Marina cruising along the Llangollen canal to Hurlestone Junction, around the Cheshire ring and back to Whixall Marina is a distance of 158 miles and passes through 138 locks. This trip is for those booking a two-week holiday and based on travelling 7 hours per day. This will take 12 days and 5 hours, allowing some time to explore some of the many cities, towns and villages en route.
